Study Data: Table is part of the "92" series of mortality tables for assured lives, annuitants and pensioners. Direct permanent assurances (whole-life and endowment) observed 1991-94; medical and non-medical issues combined. Methodology: As for the 1979-82 graduations, methodology employed involved fitting µx to a Gompertz-Makeham formula. Formula selected based on typical diagnostic tests. Parameters adjusted slightly so the resulting mortality rates “behaved properly”; that is, the rates for the select durations rose with increasing duration, the rates for the highest and lowest ages were reasonable, and the rates for the two sexes were not unreasonable in relation to each other as well as so they would not rise above ELT 15 (see SOA Table Identity 1704 and 1705), the population table for roughly the corresponding period of time. Data Transcription Errors: None. Data Certified: 11/2013
