Study Data: Based on the 1980 Commissioners Standard Ordinary (CSO) mortality tables (See SOA Table Identities 35-46) and 100% of the 1983-86 Society of Actuaries (SOA) intercompany experience. The same factors apply regardless of basis, that is, the same factor is used for age last birthday and age nearest birthday 1980 CSO tables. For sex-blended mortality tables (See SOA Table Identities 107-136), compute select mortality factors in the same proportion as the underlying mortality. For example, for the 1980 CSO-B Table, the calculated select mortality factors are 80% of the appropriate male selection table plus twenty percent 20% of the appropriate female selection table. Factors primarily used in the calculation of reserves. Methodology: Not specified. NOTE: For policy years 16 and over the selection factor is always 100%. Data Transcription Errors: None. Data Certified: 03/2013..
